Mental Health Awareness Week 2022
Thursday 05 May 2022

The pandemic has given rise to a sense of isolation and loneliness, with far less access to loved ones, adapting to new ways of working and having to rely on technology for more aspects of life. Loneliness affects many of us throughout life and can be both a driver for and product of poor mental health.

Mental Health Awareness Week will run between 9th – 15th May. This year’s Let’s Connect campaign encourages people to consider their unique contribution in tackling loneliness, isolation, and the barriers to connection.
Let’s Connect!
- Upskill people around you to use technology to stay in touch with families, friends, and colleagues.
- Provide safe, welcoming, and inviting spaces to talk and support each other.
- Raise awareness of the link between poor mental health and loneliness
