Patient participation groups

We want to encourage patients to get involved in how their local GP surgery services are run and can be improved by joining a Patient Participation Group (PPG).

What are Patient Participation Groups?

Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) belong to GP practices and have been set up to involve patients and voluntary and community groups in their care. We want to engage with patients to make sure the needs of local people are considered.

The PPGs aim to share experiences, discuss what is working well and explore what changes are needed to improve patients’ experiences.

The PPGs aim to share experiences, discuss what is working well and explore what changes are needed to improve patients’ experiences.

If you are interested in joining your PPG, please contact your GP practice directly for further information.

We are working to further strengthen our links with practice Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) as part of our engagement work.
